The most difficult subjects can be explained to the most slow- witted man if he has not formed any idea of them already; but the simplest thing cannot be made clear to the most intelligent man if he is firmly persuaded that he knows already, without a shadow of doubt, what is laid before him. - Leo Tolstoy

Looking For Work
Hey there. I'm still alive, just haven't had much to say lately. Figured it was high time I did something with this moribund blog, and in the absence of any better ideas, I'm posting my résumé. You'll find a link to it in the header.

My specialty is web development, specifically using either Microsoft's ASP.NET platform or PHP, though I do have a thorough grounding in object-oriented programming and relational database design in general. Definitely more of a "functionality" than a "look and feel" -type developer, as you can probably tell from looking around this site. My latest interest is building mobile applications, and I'm in the process of learning Google's Android platform.

But anyway, my immediate concern is paying my bills, and to that end I'm actively seeking gainful employment of pretty much any sort, on either a short- or long-term basis. I live in Stamford, CT, and for the right position am willing to commute to pretty much anywhere in Fairfield County, Westchester County, or Manhattan. Telecommuting from my home office is a welcome option too, of course. If you're looking to hire, or know someone who is, by all means leave a comment (it will be emailed to me when you submit it).
